Payyanur:The massive project of Payyanur town planning has been approved by the Central Government. The Rs 4 crores project is funded by the scheme called integral devolpment of small and medium towns (IDSMT) of the central government. The project will cover the construction of busstand, town hall, stadium and for the basic necessities of the town.
Payyanur:The uroos festival of the famous Eramam-Kadayakkara Makham will be held from 18th to 22nd March with various functions.
Payyanur: TV Rajesh has been reelected as the secretary of the Kerala state committee of SFI. The election was held at the organisation's state conference concluded at Thrissur yesterday.

Payyanur: Dr Rajagopal , a native of Palakkad has been appointed as the new administrative officer of Pariyaram Medical College. He took charge yesterday. He was working as the administrative officer at Cosmopolitan Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.
