Payyanur: Prof M.Narayanan of Physics Dept will be the new principal of Payyanur college. He assumed office a couple of days back. Prof Narayanan hails from Keezhallur in Kannur district.

Payyanur:Noted novelist and script-writer C V Balakrishnan bagged this years Kerala State Film award for the best film based book. His " Cinimayude Idangal" has been selected as the best work by the Jurie. The award was declared by the minister G.Karthikeyan at Thiruvananthapuram today. Payyanur Dot Com conveyed their hearty congratulations to Balakrishnan.
