Arrested with Illicit Liquor
Payyanur: 20 liters of illicit liquor being transported on an auto rikshaw from Mathamangalam to Kuttur were confiscated by SI M.V. Sukumaran and group at Panappuzha. Shri M.V. Prakashan of Panappuzha was arrested while the auto driver Rajesh fled the scene.
Advance Case Charged Against CPM Leader
Payyanur: Advance case has been registered against Mr. S. Sunilkumar, CPM leader by for breaking the peace living atmosphere of the people in Payyanur and surroundings. The case is registered against Shri Sunilkumar for attacking his opposite party workers and destroying public property.
