Fever Outbreak – Police Protection at Payyanur Government Hospital

Payyanur: Three Policemen are posted at Payyanur Government Hospital as a precautionary measure to ensure that the patients and their relatives of fever and other epidemic deceace do not attack the Doctors and staff members. Since it is a reported practice at different places to attack the Doctors and Hospital staff for lack of medicine, charging of fee, non-availability of Doctors etc., the posting of policemen at Payyanur Hospital is purely is on a precautionary measure.

It is reported that, as an average 300 patients are visiting the Government Hospital daily. Out of these 300, atleast 25 patients are being admitted.

Grandfather Flee with Mother of Two

Payyanur: A person having children and grand children fled away with a married women having two children. It happened at Kavvayi near Payyanur two days ago.

Fever – One Died at Payyanur

Payyanur: Ms. K.P.P. Farida (13) of Kunhimangalam Kozhappara died today morning due to high fever. Farida was studying in 8th Standard at of Knhimangalam Government Higher Secondary School.

Farida is daughter of Shri T.P. Abbas who is working in the Gulf and Smt. K.P.P. Paathooty. Kunhimangalam Government Higher Secondary School declared a holiday today in respect of the deceased.
