Payyanur: The famous Uroos festival of Pulingome Makham will begin today. Hundreds of devotees of various caste and creed will fled to this sacred place situated on the banks of Karyankode River and on the valley of Karnataka Hills seeking blessings. Elaborate arrangments like drinking water, huge pandals to accomodate hundreds of devotees, special buses to major locations etc have been done to make the pilgrimage easy and convenient. Mass dining for ten thousand people will be held on 28th March. Minister MA Kuttappan will inaugurate the Souhruda Sangamam on the same day.
