Payyanur: Negligence on the part of the authority in completing the road expansion works from Kothayi Mukku to Vadavanthur on Payyanur-Cherupuzha Road became a nightmare for the road users. By unloading boulders and red earth on the roadside for the construction of culverts, the road has become unsuitable even for pedestrians. The road expansion work is being carried without relocating the electric and telephone posts.

If the electric and telephone posts are not relocated from the expanded road, the road expansion work, even when completed, will not serve any purpose.
