Payyanur: A national mathematics seminar on " Fuzzy Mathematics and Application" began at Payyanur College. Dr PK Rajan, the vice chancellor of Kannur University inaugurated the 3-day long seminar. Dr KH Subrahmanyan, the registrar of Kannur varsity offered the main speech. T. Thrivikraman, the acting president of Kerala Mathematics Association presided over the function. College Principal KV Narayanan, Ancykutty Joseph, AC Sukumaran Nambiar and NV Prakashan offred felicitations. NV Kannan welcomed the function and Dr. TV Ramakrishnan offered vote of thanks.
Dr. MS Sreeram (Madras University), Dr SS Benjali (Karantak University), Dr AR Rajan (Kerala University), Dr MI Jinnah presented various subjects in the seminar. About 150 selected candidates from all over India are participating in the seminar.
Dr MN Narayanan Namboothiri (CUSAT), Dr AK Sreevasthava(Banaras Hindu University), Dr M Tamban Nair (IIT Chennai) offered speeches in the seminar in today's session.
