Chandrasekharan Vaidyar was born in 1930 at Azheekode as son of VP Kunhiraman Gurukkal and Paravathi Amma. He held various positions in several political, social and cultural organizations. Apart from being known as a good ayurvedic physician, Vaidyar served as district convener of the cultural wing of KPCC, president of Swami Ananda Theertha trust, founder secretary of Ayurveda Congress, founder secretary of Payyanur Vikasana Samithi, presdent of Hindi Vidya Peetam, president of “of Prohibition movement, state president of Atmavidya Sangam etc.
He has directed about 200 dramas and acted himself in many of them. He has a lot of disciples in the field of theatre art. The famous cine artist Raghavan is one among them. Payyanur Dot Com congratulates him on this occasion
