Kannur: The historic Chirakkal Koviakam, the seat of the Kolathri dynasty will be the head quarters of the Kerala State Folklore Academy. The Kizhakke Kovilakam including the 53 cent compound has been handed over to the district collector yesterday. MV Vishnu Namboothiri, the chairman of folklore academy informed that an open air theatre, library and a cultural museum will be set up here by the academy.
