Payyanur:The Dubai chapter of Payyanur Souhrida Vedi conducted its first family gettogether of the year 2003 at Dubai today. The newly elected managing committee took charge at today's function. The colourful function was held at Eat&Drink Restaurant auditorium Dubai. IP Mohan, the Indian Consul of Dubai Indian Consulate was the chief guest. MV Gopalan, the president of PSV presided over the function. PP Saseendran- special correspondent of Mathrubhumi Kannur, KPK Vengara- program director of UAQ Radio, Abdul Salam- vice president of PSV AbuDhabi chapter offered felicitations. Ramesh Payyanur welcomed the audience and Bhaskaran Nair offered vote of thanks.Prof. Padmaraj, the noted magician from Payyanur and Suresh Ramanthali- a flourishing writer were honoured at the function. Various dance and music items were presented by PSV members and their children. The magic show by Prof Padmaraj was the main attraction of the event.
