Payyanur: Payyanur Municipality allotted Rs.16 Lakhs for the immediate maintanance of the bypass road. The bypass road was totally collapsed and was unfit for traffic despite of several repairing attempts. New traffic rules will be imposed in the town once the bypass maintanance begins- informed Municipality sources. They also informed that the old municipal office building in the busstand will be demolished and will be allocated for KSRTC bus parking.
