Payyanur: The 72nd martyr's day of A Kunhiraman Adiyodi, who sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country, was observed at Payyanur yesterday. Kunhiraman Adiyodi died after his 43 days long hunger strike at Bellary Central Jail during his imprisonment for participating in the Uppu Satyagraha before 72 years. K.Sudhakaran, minister for forests & sports inaugurated the function held at BEMLP School. KP Noorudin, Sateesan Pacheni, P.Balan Master, Sajeev Maroli, VP Appukuttan, VN Eriupuram, MP Unnikrishnan and MK Rajan also spoke.
