Payyanur: Sri. M.V.Raghavan, the minister for co-operation inagurated the newly established Payyanur Co-operative Urban Bank at Payyanur. Sri. P.Balan Master, president of the bank presided over the function. Sri. Muraleedharan Nambiar, the Co-op Joint Registrar distributed the share certificates. M.Narayanan Kutty, CA Ajeer, PP Karunakaran,CK Chandrasekharan, KN Kannoth, T.Narayanan Nair, KP Balakrishna Poduval, V.Davood Haji, P.Rajan addressed the function.The new bank is located on the Hospital Road opposite to Payyanur Police Station.
