HC dismisses Jayarajan's Plea
Kochi: The High Court of Kerala dismissed a plea from EP Jayarajan against the withdrawl of the special prosecutor in the case of murder attempt on him. Justic Sasidharan has given the verdict agreeing with the Government's stand . The government has informed the court that it is not interested to keep a special prosecutor by paying Rs.2000 per sitting and the public prosecutor can satisfactorily do this job. The petitioner has accused that Ministers MV Raghavan and K.Sudhakaran are behind this decision and it politically motivated. But the court found that the decision was only by the Home Department.
