PARIYARAM MEDICAL COLLEGE WILL BE MADE SELF FINANCING: M.V.R
Payyanur: The Minister for Co-operation and Ports, Sri. M.V.Raghavan announced that the Medical Colleges at Pariyaram and Kochi will be made self financing colleges. He told that the UDF government has decided to put and end to the practice of students from Kerala going to neighbouring states for higher and professional education. For this purpose the help and co-operaton of the private sector will be defenitely entertained, the minister stated. Government can not provide subsidies for the mis management of these colleges. The minister told that the only way to keep these colleges running smoothly is self financing. He was addressing a public meeting held at Payyanur Gandhi Maidan. The meeting was organised to give a warm reception to MVR . Sri. VN Eripuram presided over the function. P.Balan Master, M. Narayanan Kutty, MK Kunhikkannan, Peringome Musthafa, MP Murali and TV Gopalan also addressed the meeting.
