MOTHER TRIES TO COMMIT SUICIDE AFTER THROWING HER CHILDREN INTO THE DEEP WELL
Payyanur: A mother thrown her two little children into deep well and consumed poison near Payyanur. Mrs. Leena (29) of Vellur Kaniyeri thrown her 4 year old son Rahul and 8 year old daughter Rasna into deep well on Monday night and consumed poison after cutting her left hand nerve. Rahul died and Rasna had a surprise escape without injuries. Leena has been admitted to Pariyaram medical college and is said to be out of danger.
The incident happened on Wednesday night at about 11.30 pm. The other members of the family came to know about this mishap when they heard the screaming of Rasna. The payyanur fire force removed the body of Rahul from the well. The well is about 30 feet deep.
